Website information

Cookie Policy.

This notice explains cookies and similar technologies, what the current Orchis IV website actually uses and how your choices will be respected.

Version 1.2, effective 17 July 2026, review whenever website technology changes

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kits, tracking pixels, tags and device identifiers. They may remember choices, support security, measure use or enable third party content.

2. What this website currently uses

The Orchis IV booking pathway creates one first party session cookie when the secure booking session begins. It supports booking security and continuity. General browsing does not use analytics, advertising, social media, functional or preference cookies. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and comparable tracking tools are not installed. Browser local storage is not used for appointment or health information.

When you choose to pay, you leave this website and are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout. Stripe uses cookies and similar technologies on its own domain, including technologies for checkout security and fraud prevention. Cliniko is connected privately from the Orchis IV server and does not place a Cliniko cookie in your browser through this website.

Stripe controls and may update the technologies used on its hosted checkout. See Stripe's Cookie Policy for its current details. Orchis IV will review this table if the payment configuration or website technology changes.

4. Categories we may use in future

Strictly necessary technologies may be required for website security, booking continuity, fraud prevention, consent records or secure payment. Where they are genuinely necessary for a service you request, consent is not normally required, but clear information will still be provided.

Functional technologies remember optional preferences. Analytics technologies measure how visitors use the website. Advertising and social media technologies may profile activity, measure campaigns or connect the website to other platforms. These nonessential categories will not be used before valid consent.

5. First party and third party technologies

First party technologies are set by Orchis IV. Third party technologies are set by another provider, such as a payment, booking, video, map, analytics or social media service. Before any third party technology is installed, this notice and the cookie table must be updated with its provider, purpose, category and duration.

6. Consent management

Because the present Orchis IV website uses only the technology needed for a secure booking service requested by the user, it does not display a cookie consent banner. Clear information is still provided here. If Orchis IV introduces any nonessential technology, a consent management platform will prevent it from loading before consent and will provide equally prominent choices to accept or reject it. Consent choices will be recorded, and a persistent control will allow consent to be changed or withdrawn as easily as it was given.

7. Payments, embedded content and future tools

Stripe Checkout opens on Stripe's secure domain only after you decide to continue with payment. Stripe is responsible for the technologies used on its own hosted service and provides its own privacy and cookie information there.

Embedded maps, videos, review widgets and social media feeds are not currently loaded. If introduced, they will not load nonessential technologies before valid consent. Ordinary links to external websites do not place their technologies on the Orchis IV website, although the destination website may use its own cookies after you follow the link.

8. Browser controls

You can use your browser settings to delete or block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of a future secure booking or payment service from working. Browser controls do not replace the consent choices the website must provide for nonessential technologies.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this notice and its table whenever the website’s technology changes. Questions can be sent to joyediran@orchis-iv.co.uk or raised by telephone on 07399 177445.
